The Lost Sale button within the main Opportunity screen is used to indicate when a sale or Opportunity has been lost. The canvas below is invoked to capture a lost sale date, reason, and competitor.
Clicking the Submit button will automatically set the Opportunity Stage code to LOST.
The Submit button will also generate a Task Notification record containing the details of the Opportunity and the Lost Sale data values. This Task Notification will be sent to all users belonging to the Work group attached to the LOST_SALE note code.
