This canvas contains a variety of fields that are used to store URL’s and paths to directories that are used throughout the Khameleon application for the generation of file outputs, the writing of attachments, and the distribution of notes / e-mails.
Dflt Report Server Name: Name of the reports server created on your Oracle Application Server and configured to be used with the Khameleon application (one single word with no spaces). Ex: rskhameleon. See SetUp> System> Maintenance> Hardware> Report Servers.
App Server Output Dir: Directory full path on the Oracle Application Server used to create Khameleon output files (report pdf, xls, htm). Typically this corresponds to the local physical path on the Oracle AS server Ex:E:/Khameleon/khamel/ksoutput.
Mail Server Name: Hostname or IP address of the internal smtp server name.
Mail Server Port: Smtp port used by internal server name, typically 25.
Domain Name: Depending on mail server security, this can be left blank, or may be required as an authorized domain name that is allowed to send emails.
Email Attachment Path: HTTP mapping to the directory specified for Client Attach Upload Directory, used when sending E-Mail (notes records) with attachments. The Oracle Database Server (Admin level user running Oracle Services) must have read / write privileges.
Client Attach Upload Directory: Directory where attachment files linked to note records are stored. This directory can be on the application server, or can be a separate file server on the network. Specify as a UNC path (\\servername\ksattach). Khameleon user need read / write access to this directory.
Server Attach Download Directory: Directory used by the Oracle Application Server to retrieve attachment files linked to note records. This directory can be on the application server, or can be a separate file server on the network. Specify as a UNC path (\\servername\ksattach).
